Thursday’s regular season finale did not go the way the girls soccer teams had planned. Adams lost to Mishawaka Marian 0-1.

The Eagles had 7 shots at the goal but were unable to make the connection to get the score. Adams goal keeper Makiah McCain did finish the night with 5 saves, trying to keep the Eagles in the game.

With the loss Adams’ regular season record for 2018 is 8-6.

The junior varsity team was victorious over the Knights, winning 2-0. Leslie Martinez scored for the Eagles with the assist from India McKinney and so did Naya Riley who had an assist from Payton Hansen.

The post season begins with the IHSAA Sectional this week. Adams will face off against Penn on Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM at Jackson Field in South Bend.
