Girls Basketball opened up Northern Indiana Conference play on the road Friday night sparing off against the John Glenn Falcons. The Falcons started off to a hot start and the Eagles never quite were able to catch up, falling to John Glenn with a score of 30 – 60.
The leading scorers for Adams were Whitney Marshall and Maria Besario who each had 7 points apiece and not far behind with 6 points was Marissa Shelton. McKenna Lichty had 4 points, and Makiah McCain, Samaya Sigur, and Laila Williams each had 2 points.
The Eagles begin the season 0-2 and 0-1 in the Northern Indiana Conference but there is still plenty of hope for the team as they continue to grow and improve week by week.
Adams returns home for their next action on Friday November 16 when the host South Bend St. Joseph.
In the junior varsity game Adams fell to Glenn 12 – 36. The leading scorer for the Eagles was Mayah Allen with 7 points.
