Adams girls basketball hosted their second home game of the year on Friday evening, hosting in town rival St Joseph. The Eagles fell to the Indians 21 – 66.

The Eagles struggled in the second and third quarters, but leading scorer Madylin Bauer was able to get a majority of her 6 points in the fourth quarter. Loryn Higginbotham and Maria Besario both scored 4, Makiah McCain finished with 3, and Whitney Marshall and Laila Williams each had 2.

Adams starts the season 0-3 and 0-2 in the Northern Indiana Conference. The Eagles will play again Tuesday when they travel to Mishawaka.

In the junior varsity game, Adams lost 27-46. The leading scorer for the Lady Eagles was Brianna Woods, who finished the night with 7 points. Not far behind was Kyah Parker and Mayah Allen who each had 6. The junior varsity team is also 0-3 for the year and 0-2 in the NIC as well.
