The Adams wrestling team hosted their second home meet of the week on Thursday night, facing off against the Mishawaka Cavemen. The young Adams team fought hard and had many learning experiences, but were unable to hold of the Cavemen, losing 15 – 62. Despite the loss the coaching staff remains positive as the young team, with only 1 senior, continues to gain valuable experience as the year progresses.
The Eagles were victorious in 3 weight classes. Henry Wroblewski won by technical fall at 106, Dominique Clark won by major decision at 152, and Jonathan Thomas won by fall at 220. Thomas remains undefeated for the 2018-19 season so far at 6-0.
The Eagles fall to 1-5 for the season and are 0-2 in the Northern Indiana Conference.
Adams will compete again on Saturday at the Valparaiso Invitational.
