The girls swimming and diving team scored a massive victory over Northern Indiana Conference opponent Mishawaka Marian on Tuesday evening during a coed meet at home. The Eagles won 8 events, taking them to the 115-67 victory over the Knights.
Of those events that Adams won, several times the Eagles finished 1-2 and even 1-2-3 in one event.
The 200 Medley Relay started things off in the right direction for Adams, winning in in 2:16.07. The relays was made up of Eamin Lynch, Ivie Skube, Melany Morales-Garibay, and Cate Garber. Lyndsay Collins won the 200 Freestyle in 2:2923. The Eagles went 1-2 in the 200 Individual Medley with Morales-Garibay finishing in 2:41.46 and Skube in 2:58.25. Morales Garibay also won the 100 Butterfly in 1:12.59. Adams also finished 1-2 in the diving event which was contested the day before. Lindsay Gizzi finished with 252.25 points and Katherine Hensell finished with 212.90.
In an impressive feat, Adams finished 1-2-3 in the 100 Freestyle. Tania Gonzalez won in 1:07.92, Claire Wright finished second in 1:17.64, and Lillian Weston finished in 1:21.61.
Adams finished off the night strong winning the remaining relays as well. Gonzalez, Garber, Lynch, and Sade Williams won the 200 Freestyle Relay in 2:03.67 and in the 400 Freestyle Relay Morales-Garibay, Lynch, Gonzalez, and Collins won with a time of 4:21.90.

Adams improves to a record of 4 wins and 3 losses overall and 3-3 in the NIC.
The Eagles will swim again on Thursday at New Prairie High School.
