The boys swimming and diving team dominated the SB Washington Panthers on Thursday night, defeating Washington 135 – 47. The Eagle swimmers won first place in 11 of the 12 events.
The night started off strong for Adams, winning the 200 Medley Relay. The relay was swam by Kenneth Weston, Alexander Mills, Brendan Quinn, and Ethan Marvel, winning in 2:08.19. Later in the meet the 200 Freestyle Relay tied with Washington, with both teams finishing with a time of 1:53.19. James Bramlett, Samuel Burns, Mateo Rey, and Joseph Karban were members of the relay. In the final event of the evening, the 400 Freestyle Relay, Jakob Forsythe, Brendan Quinn, Joseph Schrader, and Aleksandr Sergeant won in 4:03.98.
In the individual events, Schrader also was a winner in the 200 Freestyle (2:12.40) and the 500 Freestyle (6:02.91).Forsythe won the 200 Individual Medley (2:09.85), Quinn finished first in the 100 Fly (1:02.87), Sergeant won the 100 Freestyle (1:05.62), Rey finished first in the 100 Backstroke (1:42.25), and Burns won the 100 Breaststroke (1:16.15). In the 50 Freestyle Orlando David tied for first, finishing with a time of 28.53.
