The Girls Track and Field team competed on Saturday at the Marion Relays on what became a wonderful spring day to compete. As a team the Eagles, which in recent years has done very well at the meet, finished in 4th place with 50.5 points.
The highest finish for the Lady Eagles cam in the final event of the afternoon, the 4×400 Relay. The relay finished as runner ups in a time of 4:15.60, the best performance for the team this season. Ali Mihut, Devyn Moore, Jordan Mihut, and Brianna Woods competed for the Eagles in the relay.
Both the 4×100 Relay and Sprint Medley Relay (100-100-200-400) finished in 3rd place. A. Mihut, Moore, Woods, and Shanell Exum competed in both these events. The 4×100 ran a time of 52.37 and the Sprint Medley Relay finished in 1:56.76.
Exum would also finish in 5th place in the 100 Dash with a time of 13.56.
Maddie Mischak would finish in 7th place in both the 1600 and 3200. Mischak ran 5:51.20 in the 1600 and in the 3200 finished in 12:50.80.
Both distance relays did well in the meet as well. The 4×800 Relay of Hannah Mihut, Kierra Watford, Ivie Skube, and Betsy Leija-Casteneda finished with a time of 11:29.17 in 4th place, The Distance Medley Relay (1200-400-800-1600) finished in 5th place with 14:20.04. H Mihut, Watford, Skube, and Mary Clare Elliot ran for the Eagles.
In the field Claire Butler finished 5th in Pole Vault, jumping 8’0.” Bri Woods leaped 15’4” in long jump to finish in 5ht place. Alecia Parker had a toss of 37’1” in shot out, putting her in 3rd place.

Adams will compete at home on Tuesday in Northern Indiana Conference action, taking on John Glenn and SB St Joseph High Schools.
