It was a senior night to remember for the girls track and field team won big over both SB St Joseph and Glenn High Schools. Adams won 77-60-29 in the Northern Indiana Conference triangualr meet.
Freshman Anna Borkowski had a big night for Adams, winning two individual events and running a leg in two winning relays. Borkowski won the 1600 in 5:55.8 and later in the evening won the 800 in 2:36.3. She also ran a leg on the winning 4×800 relay which won in 10:34.6. Joining her was Hannah Mihut, Ivie Skube, and Brianna Woods. Borkowski, Mihut, and Woods would come back in the 4×400 joined by Ali Mihut to win in 4:24.4
Woods was also the winner of the 200 Dash with a time of 27.7. Devyn Moore won the 400 Dash in 1:03.6.
In the field, Alecia Parker won shot put with a toss of 36’6.5”
The Eagles also had a number of second place finishes as well, including Shanell Exum in the 100 Dash and 300 Hurdles, Jordan Mihut in the 400, Hannah Mihut in the 800, Maggie Coman in the 3200, Shania Chatman in High Jump, Alecia Parker in Discus, and the 4×100 Relay of Rayna Brooks, Shanell Exum, Ali Mihut, and Kierra Watford.
The Eagles improve to a 3-1 in the NIC and 10-4 for the season.
The girls will be off until next Tuesday when they travel to New Prairie to take New Prairie and Penn High Schools.
