Boys Varsity Track · Boys Track and Field Finishes 7th at NIC Meet

It was championship time for the Boys Track & Field team on Thursday night at Mishawaka High School as the Eagles competed in the Northern Indiana Conference Championship Meet.

Thursday’s meet determines the final season standings in Track and Field as well as All Conference honors.

Adams would finish in 7th place in the Conference with a total of 28 points.

The Eagles had one All Conference finisher, Dominique Clark in Pole Vault. Clark set a new personal best of 13’0” which earned him a second place finish and Second Team NIC.

Clark would also run a leg on the fourth place finishing 4×400 Relay which ran a time of 3:32.46. Clark would run with Jaylen Wright, Teo Reimbold Thomas, and David Smith.

Wright and Smith ran legs on the 5th place finishing 4×100 Relay as well. They were joined by Tommy Douglas and Tre Gray and ran in 44.52.

Wright came back in the 400 Dash in 53.49 to finish in 7th place.

William Neubauer placed in both the 1600 and 3200. In the 1600 Neubauer ran 4:39.41 good for 6th place and finished 8th in the 3200 in 10:19.45.

Alex Marcharaschwili finished 8th in the 800 Run in 2:09.04.

Marcharaschwili also ran a leg on the 4×800 Relay along with Alex Blade, Amar Beganovic, and Hansell Lopez, running 8:50.5, good for 6th place.

In Long Jump Trevon Williams leapt 19’3.25” for 8th place.

The Eagles will compete again next Thursday in the IHSAA Sectional Meet hosted at Penn High School
