The John Adams Girls Track and Field team continues its tradition of excellence with qualifying two relays and four individuals for the IHSAA Regional Meet at Warsaw High School on Tuesday evening.
The 4×800 Relay of Hannah Mihut, Anna Borkowski, Ivie Skube, and MaryClare Elliot and the 4×400 Relay of Ali Mihut, Devyn Moore, Mary Clare Elliot, and Brianna Woods will begin and end the meet in their respective relays.
Individual qualifiers include Anna Borkowski in the 800 Run, Brianna Woods in the 400 Dash, Madeline Mischak in the 3200 Run, and Alecia Parker in Shot Put.
Parker was the Sectional Champion in Shot Put and set the new school record in the event with a throw of 40’11.5”
Borkowski qualified for the Regional Meet on a callback based on her performance at the Sectional last week.
The top three finishers at the Warsaw Regional will automatically qualify for the IHSAA State Finals in Bloomington on Saturday June 1.
The meet will begin at 6:00 PM at Warsaw High School.
The 4×800 Relay and Field Events begin at 6:00, Running Trials begin at 6:30, and the Finals begin at 7:30 PM.
