As the new school year quickly approaches, the fall sports season kicked into full swing this week. The Eagles Girls Golf team was the first team to get back into action on Wednesday, taking on Elkhart Central and SB Clay in Northern Indiana Conference play.
The Eagles came out victorious, winning with a score of 187 and beginning the season 2-0. Elkhart Central finished in second with 212 and Clay in third with 261.
Much of the team from last year brings back their experience and started off the 2019 season on a great note.
Miranda Brewer was the low medalist for the day, shooting 44 on the front 9 at Erskine.
Quinn Stanchin shot 46, Selah Unwin 48, Anna Guzik 49, Coco Castallenet 55 and Meghan Carter shot 60.
The Lady Eagles begin the season 2-0 overall and in the NIC. Adams take a few days off before continuing NIC play next Monday taking on John Glenn and Penn High Schools.
