Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Volleyball Goes 2-2 at Blue Jay Invite

It was a busy day of Volleyball on the courts in LaPorte Indiana on Saturday as the Adams Volleyball teams competed in the Blue Jay Invitational hosted by North Judson HS.

As a team, Adams went 2-2 for the day, but the overall record does not reflect the total team effort the team put out all day.

Adams battled it out with Culver Girls Academy in the first match of the day, taking it to three sets to settle. Adams lost the first set 19-25 but battled it back in the second to twin 25-22. The Eagles would lose the third set 6-15.

Later in the morning, Adams would defeat Hammond Academy in two sets 25-10-25-10.

During the afternoon session, Adams played in a close contest against Boone Grove, narrowly falling in the first set 21-25 and then losing 25-10 in the second set.

The Eagles were able to end the day on a positive note however, taking on SB Clay in the final match of the afternoon. Adams would win over the Colonials 25-14, 25-4.

The Junior Varsity also competed in the invitational as well, going 2-2. Adams had wins over Culver (25-18, 25-22) and Hammond (25-6, 25-18). The Eagles lost their matches to Pioneer (13-25, 21-25) and Michigan City (16-25, 18-25).
