Girls Soccer on Saturday played in yet another non conference game, taking on some of the better teams in the region before conference play begins next week.
Despite being a wonderful later summer day outside, it was a tough day for Adams on the field, unfortunately, with the Eagles falling to Valparaiso 1-5.
As a team, Adams had 7 total shots on goal, but it was only Anna Borkowski in the 38th minute who was able to get the ball in the net for the Eagles. Borkowski’s goal did tie the game up just before half, but it was all the Vikings in the second half, with four unanswered Valparaiso goals.
Goalkeeper Makiah McCain did have 11 saves for the Eagles.
The Lady Eagles begin play against Northern Indiana Conference teams next week and look to use the valuable experience early on in the season as conference play progresses.
Adams has a record of 1-3-2 as the team moves into NIC play beginning on Tuesday when Adams hosts the Mishawaka Marian Knights.
