The action at Tallman Beyrer Field did not disappoint on Monday night for the Adams Boys Soccer team.
The Eagles, hosting Glenn High School in Northern Indiana Conference play, looked to come off of an action packed weekend at the Hoosier Cup in Bloomington.
Adams was able to get the win over the Falcons, but it took until overtime to secure the 4-1 victory.
Arturo Ortiz scored for Adams in the 30th minute of play, with Adams holding that lead until late in regulation when Glenn was able to tie the game up.
The Eagles woke up in overtime to put the game away. Scoring in almost near succession, Nezar Fassali (assist Connor McKenna), Zaid Delgado (direct kick), and Shane Coleman (unassisted) all scored for Adams in the overtime period.
In the game, Adams outshot Glenn a total of 18-5.
Adams is now 4-4-1 for the season. In NIC play the Eagles are 3-1, with all of those games against NIC South Division opponents.
