Coed Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · Girls Cross Country Runs in New Prairie Invitational

The Girls Cross Country team ran amongst some of the best in the state on Saturday when the team competed in the New Prairie Invitational. The meet is one of, if not the largest high school meet in the country.

The Lady Eagles finished the day with a score of 588 in the AAA Division (Large School). As a team, Adams finished in 22nd place.

Ivie Skube was the fastest runner for Adams, running an impressive race and crossing the finish line in 62nd place overall. Skube ran a time of 21:20.

Also running for Adams in the competitive race was Maddie Mischak (22:04), Claire Stowe (24:28), Delany Packard (24:40), Hannah Connell (26:04), and Besty Leija Castaneda (27:57).

Adams also had four runners represent the team in the Girls Reserve Race, the race with the most competitors to finish out the action packed day. Rajiya Weaver, Ruby Delgado, Jacquelin Segundo, and Deireann O’Brien all ran for Adams in the race.
