Multiple Teams · Volleyball Loses NIC Match to Jimtown

Tuesday night was a marathon of volleyball for the Adams Volleyball team at Jimtown HS. All three teams played in the Northern Indiana Conference match. All three teams also played 3 sets, playing the Jimmies hard and fighting for every point.

In the Varsity match up, the Lady Eagles were ready for action, eager to win an NIC match. Adams did not let Jimtown pull away, narrowly falling in the first set 23-25. And it was just as close in the second set 22-25. In the third set, Jimtown was victorious defeating Adams 15-25.

SeSe Scheffler had 5 solo blocks and 4 assisted blocks against the Jimmies. Sophia Salas had 41 digs and Sydney Lewandowski and Aubrey Richardson each had 12 digs a piece. Abby Holmes finished with 6 kills against Jimtown.

Both the Freshman and Junior Varsity teams lost in three sets as well. The JV team won the first set 25-13 then lost in the second and third sets 18-25, 9-15. The Freshman team, who started the night out for the Eagles won the first set 25-23, then lost the next two 22-25, 15-25.

Adams will play again on Thursday when they travel to take on the SB Clay Colonials.
