City rivalries tend to bring out some of the best play when the two teams meet on the field. The Adams Eagles were taking on the SB Washington Panthers on Friday night at TCU School Field. The game was a SB Washington home game and the Eagles were the visiting team on the field.
The weather turned just prior to game time, and the two fields played in the cold, rain, and wind.
The Eagles did not come out cold however, and the Eagles went on long drive down field, striking first and taking the early lead. The score came off of an 18 yard run on the Quarterback keep by Ira Armstead.
Armstead was also responsible for the only other Adams score of the game in the second quarter. Armstead found n opening in the Panther defense and ran for 54 yards.
The Eagles were unable to get the job done however in the second half and would eventually lose the game to the Panthers 26-13.
Adams will host SB St Joseph in the final game of the regular season next Friday at TCU School Field.
