Winter sports are back at John Adams HS inside Hadaway’s Shack! On tThursday night, the Adams Girls Basketball team opened up the season hosting Marquette Catholic. The Blazers, the defending 1A State Champions from 2019, made the trip to South Bend to help get the new season started.
The Lady Eagles played like they had not missed a beat since last season ended. Adams was not going to let the blazers take a lead and play catch up and Adams took an early lead throughout the first quarter and maintained it into the second.

Throughout the fourth Adams cruised offensively and dominated defensively, holding Marquette to just one point during the final 8 minutes of action.
Marissa Shelton led the team on the boards with 16 total points, including three field goals, three three pointers and going 1 for 2 from the free throw line.
