What was your favorite memory at John Adams?
One day after practice, I got a call from my teammate Loryn asking if I could come to the intersection at Jefferson and Twyckenham to help jump a lady’s car. I had just gotten home, so I drove to the intersection as fast as I could. We stayed with the lady for over an hour, and turns out her car didn’t need jumped, something worse was wrong with it. Eventually, Loryn, another guy who showed up later, and I helped push the lady’s car out of the intersection. After offering to call someone to help or to stay with her longer, she insisted we go home. She gave us her phone number and said if we thought of a way for her to repay us, text her and let her know. Loryn and I decided that we would ask her to come to some of our games. She was very excited and ended up coming to half our home games for the 2019-2020 season.

Message from Head Girls Basketball Coach Dawn Huff
Team Co-Captain her Senior year. Anna was also our Co-Sportsmanship winner and made the All Academic team this season. Her positive attitude ensured our team’s success. No matter if we were up by 10 or down by 10 she supported her teammates and put them before herself. She is selfless, kind, and admirable.
Congratulations Anna and best of luck at Spring Arbor. Go Cougars!
