After an eventful couple of months, John Adams Athletics is planning on returning to the fields, courts, and courses for the fall sports season. The target date for return to athletics is Monday July 6 for all fall sports.
Before the summer conditioning begins, there are a few important pieces of information for student athletes and parents.
Physicals: The IHSAA will allow student athletes that had a pre participation physical for the 2019-2020 school year to have that physical count for the 2020-2021 school year. If a student athlete does not have a physical on file from last school year in the Athletic Office, they will need to have one completed before they start working out or conditioning with a team.
News to incoming Freshmen! The IHSAA has stated that any incoming freshman that had a physical in the 8th grade on an IHSAA physical form, will not be required to have a new physical completed. Please contact your Athletic Coordinator to request a copy. First time athletes will need a physical. Attached you will find the IHSAA physical form. All physical, new or copies need to be on file with the Athletic Department prior to the start of practices

Coming this fall – Eventlink Registration
South Bend schools will be moving from FamilyID to Eventlink for all Athletic Registration. While it is not up and running yet, it will be very shortly. As soon as registration for 2020 Fall Sports is open, we will let you know.
Prior to student athletes practicing and competing, they must complete the required paperwork on Eventlink.
Eventlink does have an app and you can download that now!
This new link will be added to johnadamsathletics.com as soon as it goes live.
Sport Specific Questions
If you have sport specific questions, please contact the head coach for each sport. All coaches contact information can be found on johnadamsathletics.com under More -> 2020-2021 Coaching Staff
We encourage you to reach out to any coach/sport in which you have an interest. Let the coach know you are interested in their program so they can share information with you. Right now, we are playing the waiting game and summer and fall plans are on hold. Summer workout schedules and fall practice start times are all tentative so we recommend you get on a coaches list so they can send you updates and workout suggestions. Per the IHSAA, no conditioning or practices are to take place until after July 6th. Coaches will be in contact on when their activities will begin.
As always – Go Eagles!
