After a morning filled with storms and heavy rains, the weather cleared on Tuesday afternoon and evening, which allowed for a near perfect night of golf for the Adams Girls Golf team. After finishing up the regular season in Northern Indiana Conference play the week before, the Lady eagles took on non-conference opponent Michigan City up at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course.
It was a close matchup between the two teams, but it was the Wolves that got the best of Adams, earning the narrow victory over Adams with a final score of 206-197.
Miranda Brewer was the low scorer for Adams. Brewer finished with a score of 46 on the scorecard. Brewer also finished with 2 pars for the night as well. Anna Guzik and Marie Swain both shot a 51. Guzik and Swain both finished with one par each on the night.
Lia Gosselin finished with a score of 58 and Coco Castellanet shot a 59.
The Eagles compete again this Friday when the team plays in the LaPorte Invitational.
