After competing earlier in the week in the Northern Indiana Conference Tournament, the Adams Boys Tennis team was back in action on Thursday evening at John Glenn.
The action spilled into the night as the sun set for the Eagles, but Adams came out victorious over the Falcons, winning 3-2.
Marty Stoner played #1 Singles for the Eagles and won in two sets 6-3, 6-0.
The two Adams doubles teams came through playing strong, and played well together to secure the victory for Adams. Vian Mariani and Michael Mazurek won their first set 6-4 and faltered in the second set 4-6. The duo bounced back in the third set to get the win 6-4 over Glenn. At #2 Doubles, Duncan Thompson and Jacob Lutz and a long battle between them and the Falcons, but were able to walk off the court with the victory after winning in two sets 7-5, 7-5.
Forest Wallace lost at #2 Singles 2-6, 3-6 and Sam Berbitsky fell at #3 Singles 0-6, 0-6.
The Junior Varsity Eagles also won with a team score of 4-2.
Sam Troxel won his singles match and the duos of Jonah Gezelter/Owen Koehler, Auggie Perugini/Casey Zielke and Ari Shemesh/ David Nagy won their matches.
