It was an excellent day for soccer on Saturday afternoon when the Girls Soccer team traveled across town to take on SB Riley at Jackson Field.
The Lady Eagles ran away with the game, establishing themselves early looking to rebound after a few tough losses earlier in the week.
Adams would leave the field with a 4-0 victory over the Lady Wildcats.
It did not take long for Adams to get on the scoreboard. Leia Lawwill scored within the first minute of the game. Hannah Church was credited with the assist.
Adams kept the pressure up throughout the rest of the half. Leslie Martinez scored next for Adams after getting the assist from Alayna Wilson. It did not take Martinez long to score again when she scored in the 28th minute of action. On her second goal, Heather Byers had the assist.
Adams rode that lead through the rest of the half and then scored one final time in the game. The fourth and final goal was from Haley Brenner in the 52nd minute with the assist from Elizabeth Ariza.
Adams will play again on Wednesday when they host Mishawaka Marian at Tallman Beyrer Field.
