The Volleyball team took part in the Bremen Invitational on Saturday. Despite what the record for the day shows, the Lady Eagles played determined and with excellent teamwork. Adams finished 1-2 for the day.
Adams opened up against Wawasee in the first game. Adams would fall to the Warriors in two sets 18-25, 14-25. In that opening match, Secilia Scheffler had 8 kills and Sophia Salas ended with 11 digs.
The Eagles would bounce back in the second match of the day. Adams defeated host Bremen in two sets 25-19, 25-10. Amya Shuppert had 4 kills in the match, Salas had 4 aces, and Brooke Rohr had 6 digs.
Moving to the final match of the day, Adams took on Triton and battled it out against the Trojans in three sets. Adams fell to Triton 14-25, 25-18, 7-15. In the final sets of the day, Shuppert had 4 blocks, Salas had 14 digs, and Claire Scheffler finished with 4 aces.
Adams will be back in action on Tuesday in Northern Indiana Conference action at Mishawaka Marian.
