The Girls Swim and Dive team was back in action on Thursday night, taking on New Prairie in a road Northern Indiana Conference Meet.
With only one loss for the season, the Eagles looked to continue their winning ways for the season, and did so, coming away with a 110-73 victory.
While there were many impressive performances throughout the night, the most impressive was a school record set by Adele Zyniewicz in the 200 Freestyle. Zyniewicz blew away the rest of the competition, winning in a time of 1:55.71.
Zyniewicz was not the only winner for the Lady Eagles. Adams won a total of 7 events.
Lyza Kricheff won the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:26.53. Yvette Burton was third in 2:44.63 and Ciara Humneston was fourth in 2:45.19.
The Eagles swept in Diving, finishing 1-2-3. Lindsay Gizzi was the winner with a score of 297.45, Katie Hensell took second with 239.10, and Logan Kosik was third with 166.40.
Addison Skube was the winner in the 500 Free, taking first in 6:22.98. Finishing in fifth was Ayva Rainwater in 7:04.27.
Adelyn Rabbitt took first in the 100 Backstroke, winning with a time of 1:10.88. Melany Morales Garibay was third in 1:13.71 and Cecilia Frazee was fourth in 1:16.57.
Sofia Frazee won the 100 Breastroke with a time of 1:11.00. Ivie Skube was runner up in 1:25.15 and Lily Chhuon was fourth in 1:29.24.
The Lady Eagles closed the night out with a win in the 400 Free Relay. Rabbit, Morales Garibay, A Skube, and Humeston won with a time of 4:17.43.
Besides the winners, there were other impressive finishes for Adams as well. In the 200 Medley Relay teams from Adams finished in second (2:06.14) third (2:07.46) and fifth (2:27.79).
Also placing in the 200 Free was S Frazee who was second and M Morales Garibay who was fourth.
A Skube and C Frazee finished second and third in the 50 Free along with Olivia Thompson who was sixth.
Kricheff, Elisa Nerenberg, and Rabbitt finished second, third, and fourth in the 100 Fly.
Burton was runner up in the 100 Free, joined by Humeston in fourth and Skye Peck in sixth.
Finally, in the 200 Free Relay, teams from Adams finished in second, third, and fourth.
Adams improves to a record of 7-1 overall and in the NIC. The Lady Eagles will swim next on Saturday at the South Bend City Meet.
