The Boys Basketball team returned home on Thursday night to take on the Jimtown Jimmies in Northern Indiana Conference play.
Adams kept its NIC record perfect by defeating Jimtown 56-27.
Adams got out to a quick lead on the Jimmies, opening up 11-3 in the first quarter and extending that lead to 30-15 after a very brief comeback by Jimtown in the second quarter. Adams cruises to victory by outsourcing the Jimmies 26-12 in the second half.
Brayden Saxton led the way for the Eagles with 14 points. Tommy Snyder also had a big night, scoring 11 points as well.
Lynn King scored 9 points, Quentez Columbus scored 5 points, Chuck Worsham had 4 points, Jessie Morgan scored 3 points, and Sidney Jefferies, Gion Parks, Brittain Vann, Rashad Simpson, and Harry Jeffers all scored 2 points each.
The Junior Varsity Eagles were victorious as well. Vann led the way with 16 points, Jeremiah Love scored 15 points, and Simpson and Tommie Hunt both had 11 points each in the 70-49 win over Jimtown.
The Eagles improve to 16-1 overall and are still perfect at 8-0 in the NIC. Adams will play next on Saturday when they host Michigan City.
