Boys Tennis Wins in NIC Postseason Play

The Northern Indiana Conference post season began on Tuesday evening as the boys tennis team traveled to Marian to take on the Knights. The Eagles swept Marian with a score of 5-0. On Monday evening the boys tennis team took on SB Washington in a crosstown and NIC match. The Eagles came out victorious, winning 5-0. The boys tennis team competed on Saturday in LaPorte taking on both LaPorte and Goshen High Schools. The Eagles began the day taking on Goshen, defeating the Redhawks 3-2. After a tough battle on Tuesday night against Penn, the boys tennis team won on Thursday over Jimtown with a score of 3-2. All three singles for Adams won while both doubles pairs lost. Winning for Adams was Tommy Han who won 6-3, 6-1; Ben Guerrero won 6-2, 6-1; and Marty Stoner also won 6-0,

The boys tennis team hosted the Penn Kingsmen on Tuesday afternoon, but were unable to hold them off, losing 0-5. On Monday night as the boys tennis teamed traveled to Mishawaka, the team cruised to victory over the Cavemen. The win keeps the Eagles with an impressive record for the year, 9-1 and 5-1 in the Northern Indiana Conference. The team swept at all three singles and at doubles as well. Tommy Han won 6-0,

The boys tennis team won on the road Saturday morning at Bremen, beating the Lions 3-2. Adams won all three singles matches, guaranteeing the Eagle victory.
