Wrestling Finishes 10th at Conference; Thomas NIC Champ

The snow was falling outside on Saturday but the action was hot inside Mishawaka High School as the wrestling teams from the Northern Indiana Conference competed for the NIC Championship. The Adams wrestling team had wrestlers in 8 of the 14 weight classes. As a team the Eagles finishes in 10th place with 59 points.

Wrestling Competes in Valparaiso Invitational

The Adams wrestling team competed on Saturday in the Valparaiso Wrestling Invitational, taking on 5 teams throughout the day. The Eagles went 1-4 against the competition. Wrestling Ends Day 1 – 3 at CMA Dual

The Adams wrestling team began their 2018-2019 season on Saturday at the Culver Military Academy Duals. Adams joined Knox, Rochester, CMA, and Plymouth in competition. Wrestling sends two to Semi-State

Two wrestlers have qualified for Semi-State after 4th place finishes at Regional. Wrestling goes 2-3 at Bremen Super Duals

The Wrestling team went 2-3 Saturday at the Bremen Super duals. The Eagles beat Gary West and Bremen while losing to New Prairie, Jimtown and Northwestern.  The Eagles din not have ant champions. The Eagles are now 11-15 on the year.  They will wrestle in the sectional next Saturday at Mishawaka.

Wrestling loses to Penn

The Wrestling team fought hard but dropped a dual match to Penn Thursday night 64-12.  Winners for Adams were Andrew Chann at 138 pounds with a pin and Jonathan Thomas at 195 pounds with a pin. The team drops to 9-12 overall and will wrestle in the Bremen Super Dual Saturday.

Wrestling loses to New Prairie

The Wrestling team opened up a big week of matches Monday heading to New Prairie. The team dropped a 49-20 decision  to the Cougars. Winners for Adams included Henry Wroblewski at 106 pounds by a 16-1 tech fall, Joe Zahl at 126 pounds by fall, Dominique Clark at 152 pounds in a 10-8 decision and

Tt came down to the final two matches and the Riley Wildcat Wrestling Team edged out a 37-34 win over the Eagles on Wednesday night. Winners for Adams included: 106- Henry Wroblewski (PIN),  126-Joey Zahl (PIN) , 138-Andrew Chann (8-4 Decision), 152-Aaron Chann (PIN), 182-Ian Donahue (7-6 Decision), 195-Horace Hill (14-8 Decision) and 220-Jonathon Thomas
