The Football team got the season going on Friday night along the shores of picturesque Lake Maxinkukee. Adams was on the road to take on Culver Academy. The Eagles were able to come home victorious, defeating Culver Academy 9-8. Culver Academy scored on the opening kickoff and went for the 2 point conversion. It was a defensive battle all night, the Adams defense holding Culver Academy to just 55 yards and kept them on the ground all night. The Eagles got on the board with a 27 yard field goal as time expired in the first half from Carlos Cubillo. With just minutes left in the fourth quarter, Adams put a drive together to reach the redzone. Cayden Keen had a perfect pass to Harrison Cooper for the 20 yard touchdown pass and secured the win. Keen was 5-11 for 50 yards. Carson Bryce rushed for 133 yards on offense and had 5 tackles on defense. Adams begins the season 1-0.
