The Girls Volleyball team competed in their first tournament of the season on Saturday. The Lady Eagles traveled to play at the Jimtown Invitational. It was a great day for Adams, as they were crowned the tournament champions, finishing the day with a record of 4-0 Adams earned the championship after several close matches, with three taking all three sets to get the win. Adams fought hard and opened the day with a victory over Goshen Home School in the first match of the day. Adams won 2-0. Working their way through pool play, Adams took on Lakeland in the second match. Adams won 2-1. Next was host Jimtown, who the Eagles beat 2-1. With the three wins, Adams was matched up against Elkhart Christian in the Championship match. After falling 23-25 in the first set, Adams turned things around to take the next two sets 25-17, 15-7 to win. Adams has a record of 7-0 this first week of the season.
