The Boys Soccer team had a big matchup on Tuesday night as the Eagles hosted ranked foe Elkhart. The action heated up in the second half with all of the scoring and Adams took down the Lions with a final score of 2-1 The Eagles and Lions were scoreless through the first half, as both teams maneuvered to take the advantage in the game. Elkhart struck first to take the 1-0 lead. The Eagles were not deterred however, and they worked their way back into the game. The first opportunity came with a penalty kick from Antonio Juarez to score the equalizer. Carlos Cubillo went on to score the game winning goal with the assist from Oscar Coris Adams is now 3-2-0 overall and 1-1 in the Northern Indiana Conference.
