The Girls Cross Country team ran in one of the region’s largest cross country races on Saturday. The Lady Eagles competed in the New Prairie Invitational, on a course that was muddy and water logged from the morning rain. Adams did not let the conditions deter them however. The Lady Eagles finished on the podium, finishing in 3rd place with a score of 112. Calire Wipperman played a big role, with her finishing palace good enough to break a tie to give Adams the 3rd place spot. Four other runners finished in the Top 40 as well. Violet Connolly finished in 10th, Gretchen Rea in 13th, Scarlet Connolly in 25th, and Leliana DeSelm in 31st. The Junior Varsity team ran an excellent race as well, finishing in 3rd place with a score of 83. Five runners from Adams finished in that race's Top 40. Adel Matnjak finished 8th, Beth Brown finished 15th, Liz Chaloner finished 16th, Faith Egbeama 23rd, and Addie Deagan in 31st. Full results from the meet can be found below.
