The Girls Soccer team had a near perfect evening to take on the Penn Lady Kingsmen on Wednesday night in Northern Indiana Conference play at Tallman Beyrer Field. Despite the final score of 5-3, Adams played with intensity and determination the entire 80 minutes. The Lady Eagles struck first. Navy Smith found the back of the net to give Adams the early lead. Penn scored four unanswered goals before Adams would score again in the second half. Ari Jones scored on a penalty kick to give Adams new energy in the game. Smith would score on a break away goal not long after to narrow the lead to just 1 goal. Unfortunately with just a few minutes left in the game, Penn scored on a penalty kick of their own. Adams kept the intensity up until the final horn sounded. The Lady Eagles are now 5-5-1 overall for the year and 3-3 in the NIC.
